The 2008 Shannonville World's Fair will be held on August 22, 23 and 24th. Again we have a line-up of exciting family fun events throughout the weekend.

Watch this site leading up to the Fair for other special fundraising events that we are holding to raise money for a couple of projects - first we thank and recognize the Ontario Trillium Foundation for its grant of $15,000 towards the purchase of new bleachers. We need to raise additional money towards that and our first fundraiser is our "Spring Fever" Demolition Derby to be held on May 25th, 2008. More details can be found in our special events section.

As well, we want to thank the community for supporting the Tyendinaga Maplefest event. We raised over $1700 which will defray the cost of our new Agridome. Throughout the year we will be holding other events to help finance this project - to help our community continue to grow.
